Banking food: Touching base with a first line of defense

picture 032Food banks are bringing new meaning to the phrase “run on the bank” as demand for food support rises while—in some areas—donations aren’t rising. We talk about food banks and their campaigns and what they are seeing on the frontlines.

We’re joined by Joanne Dundas, of Nanaimo’s Loaves and Fishes Food Bank, Jeff Hampton of the Comox Valley Food Bank, and George Minosky from Campbell River Food Bank, as well as Joanne Schneider of the Association of Administrative Professionals.
