Report on Canada’s national housing strategy released

bwhousingprotest120-jpg-size-custom-crop-1086x724Canadians are calling for a collaborative, strong and innovative national housing strategy to eliminate homelessness across the country.

They want a plan that boosts the country’s affordable housing stock and employs new financial solutions to improve the living conditions of vulnerable people, including indigenous communities. Government, participants say, must also set clear outcomes and targets, collect data, and examine existing laws and policies to ensure fair access to safe and affordable housing.  Read the rest of this article at The Toronto Star…
