If you’d like to invite Eric Harper to bring his award-winning music into your home, you can join his house concert tour
Award-winning guitarist Eric Harper has plans for 2013—and you could be a part of those plans. He says: “I’d love to do a House Concert Tour but I’m in need of House Concert hosts. Basically, someone who’s willing to host a concert in their living room just for the sake of having live music in their home. If you, or anyone you know, would be interested in hosting a House Concert* please let me know. I want to start the tour in January 2013. But all the planning has to start now.”
A reviewer for The Straight said of Eric’s self-titled 2011 album: “Two things are immediately obvious from a listen to Eric Harper’s self-titled album. The first is that he is one hell of a guitarist, and the second is that he is a painfully earnest songwriter.” Eric is also about to follow up on his self-titled album of last year with a collection of instrumental tunes that should arrive in time for the holidays this year.
We spoke with Eric last year about his music, his faith, and his experiences. We’ll take some time again this week to catch up with Nanaimo-based guitar master Eric Harper when he joins us in the studio with at least one of his guitars and some music from his new album.
